The First Superhero

I wasn't originally feeling this one, preferring the second, much more impressive shot I had done with a Modern Age Superman. But as I looked at the two shots side by side, THIS one, with the original, 1938 Action Comics #1 Superman, looked the best, just from the fact the angle conveyed the story I wanted to tell and showed him off better than the Modern Age Superman did. Also helps that this figure (from DC Direct's Superman Through The Ages box set, first time this Shuster inspired headsculpt was ever used) had a better range of motion to its head helping it look up in a much more believable flying pose. Totally underrated figure.
